ZOOM Student Moving Up Fast

Today we catch up with Luciano from Brazil.

He is one of the students in the Coaching for Profits ZOOM program,  and he is doing pretty well so far!

Here is the interview:

How did you get in touch with poker and what made you decide to start playing?

I started playing 12 years ago with some friends and I started playing because I was getting sick of the corporate world, working for 6 years on a regular 10 hours/day job.

Where do you live and how is it to live there and what do you like a lot about it?

I live in São Marcos, a small town in Rio Grande do Sul, a Brazillin state.

It’s great living there, it’s my hometown, I was away for 10 years.

I like the fact that the town is small, so you can move fast from place to place and you don’t need to spend a lot of money to have a good life.

When did you join our team at BPC? And why did you choose to play ZOOM?

I Joined BPC in January. While working on my regular job I have a few free hours a day, so I started playing zoom instead of MTTs and SNGs.

How is the ZOOM program? How do you like the material and the coaching sessions?

The Zoom program is pretty cool, the material is very organized and the coaching sessions add a lot to your game.

In which stake did you start, and in which stake you’re playing now?

I started on NL2 and now I’m playing NL25. I’m planning on moving up to NL50 in June.

ZOOM is not an easy game to beat, yet you’re beating it! What does it take to succeed at this game?

What works for me is having a solid profitable plan and putting a lot of volume at the tables.

Reviewing your own sessions, discussing your hands and improving your game little by little is essential.

What gives you motivation to get back to the tables every day?

Be free from the corporate world.

If you could give 1 advice to your other players, what would that be?

While playing, don’t focus on the money, focus on the best move that you can do

Thank you very much for your time, Luciano! I wish you the best of luck at the tables! Keep crushing!
