“Tyrant” Wins $273,383 playing at the Bad Beat Jackpot Tables at Tiger Gaming

Have you ever imagine yourself losing a pot with quad jacks? Probably it would make you think about whether it could get worse.

This just happened to “Tyrant” on January 7th after his quad jacks turned out to be no good against a straight-flush held by “pokerplayer4ever” on a $1/$2 no-limit hold’em table at Tiger Gaming, costing him a pot of nearly $400.

Although, rather than feeling angry or sad about this crazy bad beat, “Tyrant” had tears of delight because he was playing at a bad beat jackpot table where the jackpot was close to $1 million.

What about the payouts?

“Tyrant” gathered a big $273,383 or 27.5% of the total big stake. His opponent additionally had more motivations to celebrate outside of winning the $400 pot since he gathered $149,018 or 15% of the jackpot.

There were two different players in the hand and regardless of both folding preflop, they also got a piece of the cake, each sharing 15% of the jackpot which added $74,509 to their accounts.

A little bonus was given to players currently playing at other assigned bad beat jackpot tables and got a share of 5% of the enormous jackpot.

This great story can happen to you as well, once 27.5% of the last jackpot was seeded for the next one. Which means that if you end up as “unlucky” as “Tyrant”, you will trigger a jackpot already close $300,000.

To trigger the next bad beat jackpot, you have to lose a hand with quad jacks or better with you and your rival using both of your hole cards, and no less than four players in the hand.
