    SEPTEMBER
Now it’s correct, I forget AUGUST obviously 🙂 I’m 8 days late with the update of my blog, this will not happen again, I promise. September was a pretty good month. Like I mentioned, my second son was born and because of that, I got some vacation to take care of my first son. I had to reorganize my grinding days for the beginning, but in the end, I found the way how to grind the decent amount of volume. I’m still not satisfied with my volume, I think I could push myself and grind at least 130 hours, but 100 hours it’s not bad for me in this situation. So after 75k on NL50, where I have 6bb/100 I started to add some NL100. In September I’ve got pretty good run and took some profit and have to say, that there is not much difference between NL50/NL100, the toughest part is not to be scared money and play my game. So let safe some results for my future myself 🙂

    OCTOBER
Another month is over and I am here right in the beginning of the new month how I promised, really proud of myself. I was running like a god this month and it is shown in the results, but I would also say, that the hard work I’m putting in off the tables is getting paid off. Since I was moved to the Elite(Crusher) group, which is coached by Asimos, I can feel the progress I have made and I really like the homework I get after every coaching, so finally, I know exactly what I should be working on. For example, right now I’m working on analyzing an opponent who I’m playing a lot with (mostly fish, regfish) and taking precise notes. I have never done this and I like it, it is so much fun, playing against the fish, when you know a bunch of tendencies that you can easily expoilt.

I didn’t get the 50k hands in the October, which is kind of disappointing and I have to really work on my work ethic. I have to find out, how to be more productive because there were some moments, where I didn’t feel like playing because I was too tired and I did some stupid things (like playing PES or watch soccer on the TV) instead of doing something productive things. So this month I will try to follow this: DOING WHAT IS LESS FUN NOW, MEANS YOU HAVE MUCH MORE FUN IN THE FUTURE!!!
or: WORK HARDER WHEN ITS HARD, AND IT WILL BECOME EASY FOR REAL!!!
and: TODAY IS THE DAY TO IMPROVE. TOMORROW IS A FANTASY. IF YOU WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW, YOU WILL HAVE TWICE THE AMOUNT OF WORK TO DO!!!!!

I would like to play at least 50k in November and study the decent amount of the time, so let’s work on this goals. GL in November. Cheers

    Hey Man awesome blog!

Great to see you crushing it.

How do you balance family/full time work/poker?

What kind of schedule do you have?

Im in a similar situation and have been struggling to figure it out.

Hey buddy thanks, yeh that’s very tough to balance it all :). My big advantage is that I work 24h shifts and then got 4 days off. In those days I act like poker pro 🙂 7-14 I’m with my family; 14-18 session; 18-20 family, workout; 20-24 session; 24-01 study. I believe it is very hard to balance it all with normal 9-5 job. GL

Thats quite interesting schedule, thanks. Its given me a couple of ideas.

Might just have to incorporate a poker day + some  early mornings/late nights. I will eventually find something that works for me haha

    NOVEMBER
So I have done my homework for today and its time to summarize the month of November. Firstly I have to say, that I’m now satisfied with my volume and hours I have put in this month. I have lost 8 days overall. 4days at the beginning where I visited my parents, 2 days in the end when I took a holiday at work and wanted to grind hard, but I’ve got sick and I was just laying in my bad. Then I lost 2 days bcs of a bad connection (also lost biig pot bsc I’ve got disconnected in 3b pot, where I had a set and vill bets 1/4 or something OTR just to steal it lol) it was probably VPN problem, so already bought a new provider, so I hope that this month will be better. Secondly, I have to say, that I’m still running pretty good. Thirdly, I hope the good variance will stay with me next month as well 😉

I have to admit, that it’s very hard for me to put in a good amount of hours and get done all of the homework we are getting in the group right now. Not just bcs I have 2 kids, who wants lot of my attention (and I’m happy to giving it to them 🙂 I also changing my living place (moving on first of February, can’t wait to have my own workroom), to be exact we are buying older house and doing some reconstructions on it. So all of this + my job is very time consuming and my schedule is very tight.

My goals for December with the Xmas (which takes like 5 days) are to play at least 120hours + attend all the coaching sessions + get done all of the homework.

Hey Sipak, great job for November!

I had you for a moment after 3 weeks , but 3 consecutive stop-loss days was too much at the end 😀

Not that this is a big problem right now, but please crossout the names in the rankings. Nobody needs to know.

Gl for december but I am going to take the first spot this month for sure :p

    DECEMBER

Hey guys I finally got my PC back so I can write few words before I start the session. In December I lost like 6 days because I was sick and also because the USB ports on my desktop stopped working, so I had to play on my laptop and I couldn’t get my two monitors working on it and also had to reinstall everything, but in the end I grinded at least 10k hands on it and finished in the green, so it was better than nothing 🙂

Now I got my PC back and I’m really excited what the new year going to bring to me. So last month wasn’t good volume-wise, but ended little over 1kE in the green makes me kind of happy, because I started at the end of  November and beginning of December with little downswing -20BI and giving the sickness and condition of my PC and didn’t feel to turn it around but in the end I did it!!!

    Spoiler:

If I want to summarize the whole year, I must be satisfied as well even though I didn’t fulfil my goals exactly, I believe it was just because I haven’t played that much that I planned to if I would I believe I would fulfil all of them:

    • make 20kE and finish the Crusher Course
    • play at least 550k hands
    • crush up to 100NL and settle on 200NL

So I haven’t finished the Crusher Course yet, I have played cca 450k hands and I haven’t settled on 200NL (but got some shots which didn’t go well) and I think I’m beating 100NL now.

In the real life its on the very long story, so very quickly:

    • my second son was born  red_heart
    • we bought a house  red_heart

For the next year, I got some big goals and some smaller ones, so very quickly as well:

    • crush up to NL500
    • play at least 600k hands
    • make enough money to quit the job
    • finally turn the hobby into the business  red_heart
    • make a nice reconstruction on our house

That’s it, if somebody read it, I wish you all the best in the new year and GL at the tables.

    JANUARY + FEBRUARY 2019

Hey guys and my future myself. I didn’t update the blog at the end of January because I was too busy. We were moving into the house that we bought and I had to much work to find good internet provider, set up everything to be able to grind again. So I lost (don’t know exactly how many) maybe 15 days of grinding so the volume of the last two months is really bad. I made something about 160hours with approx 65k hands. I don’t know exactly, bcs I was also playing on my laptop and don’t have my database updated.

My goal for the next month is at least 120hours. That will be very tough because now I got one more thing to care of (it’s my house) so I could say I have 5 jobs at this moment. It is 1. My regular job 2. Poker 3. My wife 4. My two little boys 5. My House. Its gonna be tough year 😀

    Graph

    Spoiler:

You can see that the end of January was pretty tough where I got few stop losses in the short time, but at the end of this period, the skill earned from Asimos coachings showed up 😀

Let’s close this unproductive period and work harder the next month. GL at the tables guys 😉

    MARCH

Hello everyone lets summarize the March a bit. In March I have played 103h and close to 40k hands, so I’m kind of happy with that. What I’m not happy with are the results, my play and mental strength.

The main problem in my game was that from the middle of the month I was on the downswing and my game changed. I was scared to make a move, I was too passive in the spots where I should go for value, but was afraid that the opponent has it again, I started the session already frustrated.

So this is the area I really have to work on this month. And the next month and never stop. 🙂

    OK let’s see the results.

    Spoiler:

Goals for April are to play at least 100 hours, finish all the homework and study with GTO solver which I bought this month.

GL to all who are reading my blog.
