    Hey everyone,

    First of all, let me introduce myself. I’m Sasha and I’m 23 years old. I’m currently a student residing in Croatia and finishing my bachelor thesis in IT. I play poker a couple of years, but I took it seriously about 15 months ago. I played until recently FR, but lately I moved on SH, lately NL50.

    Why and what I’m doing here?
    I took the course ”Double Your 6max Winrate” because, after I got fired as Hand Judge in the micro Hand Evaluation Forum in the Pokerstrategy.com English community, in a primitive and disgusting way (well I didn’t behave myself in a respectful way), I decided that I need a new guideline( or as I like to call it development path) in my poker life.
    Well, after I saw the ”Champions stand up one more time then the rest” the decision was quite easy. I love the approach and the way of teaching things in the video and since I saw already a couple of Gordon’s video I started to believe that this is the right place for my poker journey.
    I joined this course because:

    – I wanna be successful in what I do
    – I wanna earn my starting capital for my future
    – I love competition
    – I wanna succeed in what I see as the chance of living my life in a way that I want
    – I wanna challenge myself

    Vision
    I believe that I can live my life in a way I want. I simply just don’t love companies and I don’t like the idea of living a live like most of the people do. I simply hate companies and guess that it’s way I don’t see myself having an ordinary day from 8-16. I just simply don’t. Even I m soon gonna get my bachelor degree.
    I see poker as a chance to earn my capital for future plans of mine. I’m like interested in a lot of stuff and I did think life has more to offer then just playing poker forever. So poker for me means currently grinding my way to known myself better, get some experience who to work in a ”one-man company”, and build a BR for my other plans and activities .

    Goals
    I would say I have now just one goal for 2013. I wanna earn from any sort of bonuses, promotions or rakeback 10 000$. This should be enough to cover my expenses(both poker and life wise). I since I always have the habit of invest in myself, as this course proves, I’m willing to improve and develop my game. Since I started my career I always set up the profits for my BR and all the other $ from bonuses or anything similar I invested into software, hardware, coaching etc.
    I have to say that I m happy that I set up myself in a new environment and a new blog. I also had one until lately, which followed my success over 1 year and save all the thousands of hands that I posted in the hand evaluation forum. So I guess I like keeping track of my progress on a blog and use it as well as my study place.

    The purpose of my blog
    I m gonna of course post homework but I will also keep track of a new habit that I trying to implement. By that, I mean I wanna start every day to write down my obligations and tasks for the next day. Since it would be nice to have some sort of motivation I followed a suggestion and found an accountability partner. Well that s gonna be my girlfriend and she is gonna cut our sexual life for 3 days every time when I m not gonna do the homework which for me is like a decent motivation do it on daily basis;)
    What I will also be a big part of my blog is daily task which consist of:

    => 10 Equity Calculations
    => 10 ”Invented Scenarios” (What if….)
    => 5 Opponents Analysis

    Overall, in short words, I wanna keep track of everything what I do in my poker life.

    Other
    Before I finish my first post and open a blog I m gonna say that I wanna show right on the front is ”3 reasons why I’m not playing the level where I would love to be”:

    1)Too ego or better said ” I think too much about myself”
    2)Thought process is full of flaws with autopilot decision or simply wrong understanding of the game
    3)I wanted to play like all the high stakes players do and whats the best on NL50:(

    This should remind me every single day that I don’t wanna do this or accept it as a part of me. So let get back to work and say I completed LESSON 1

    Even if I have bought Note Caddy Edge, which also comes with a special modified HUD that also show badges, I certainly think that I shouldn’t skip this video. I think it’s still should be worth of watching and there might be something that I maybe didn’t know.
    Be practical by keeping things simple.

    Reminder for the most important stats when creating a HUD:

    Here I’m gonna keep track of my progress when developing a new habit that I think should help. This habit is writing down all tasks for the next day. Since I wrote it yesterday down I m gonna post what I planned for today:

    -> Play 4h with one 15min. break [DONE]
    -> Create a blog on BestPokerCoachings.com [DONE]
    -> Post there your Daily Strategy Homework[DONE]
    -> Make the Weekly Goals sheet[DONE]
    -> Update NC Edge [DONE]

    In the end of the day I’m gonna see if I achieved everything what I planned for the day.

    WARM UP
    Technical Skill : Adjustment
    Focus should be on trying to think about adjustments needed during the game since my image is effecting a lot of decisions
    Mental Skill: Focus
    I have to try keeping more focus since this is the only way for me to keep consistently questioning my thought process and spot flaws in it

    COOL DOWN
    Estimate variance: 6/10
    I have to be honest and say that the variance played as always in poker an important role in a session. I wouldn’t say like it’s the main reason for my current result and I basically do not care.
    Estimate how you played: 7/10
    Despite a couple of questionable plays I can’t say like I played my worst poker. Neither I didn’t play super bad. I didn’t spew which is a huge leak of my mine and that is why I gave myself +1 note. I would say I mostly achieved my warm-up tasks so I can’t be unsatisfied. But it could always be better.

    Estimate variance: 7/10
    Well, since in the begging of the month I was running super hot I would say it’s normal that variance works as well in the opposite way.

    Estimate how you played: 6/10
    There was phases where I was extremely pleased how I played, especially in the begging and in the end of this long session. I m not pleased with my play in the middle of the session where focus was lacking. That is why I have to remember and remind myself that this is one of the topics I m working on.

    Hey guys,

    TY for your nice words! Hopefully it’s gonna continue this way.
    Definitely gonna improve my Daily Strategy Homework. Thought about also exercises related to other topics. I think for me currently the most important thing is do them as daily so I kinda develop a habit. Maybe for now its gonna be calculations, lets see what the future brings.

    WARM UP
    Technical Skill:Adjustment
    Focus should be on trying to think about adjustments needed during the game since my image is effecting a lot of decisions
    Mental Skills:
    I have to try keeping more focus since this is the only way for me to keep consistently questioning my thought process and spot flaws in it

    COOL DOWN
    Estimate variance: 8/10
    I think variance was today mostly on my side. As the graph also shows I’ve been running extremely good especially in close situations.

    Estimate how you played:7/10
    I cant say I played my best poker but neither my worst. I mean since I took the time for the weekend and was thinking about what Gordon said in his videos on PS and overall his approach to the game and I would say I played all 3 big sessions on a similar level. Since this was a 10h session without breaks(tables are kinda limited on Ongame and I also was in a hurry) I lost focus from time to time, but pushed myself to regain it. I still think that my warm up goals should stay the same for a while since I also struggle with them.
