Oke, Currently I feel like it’s my first day of middle school. I’m a little bit anxious about where I’m heading, what to expect etc… I’m also not much of a blogging tye of guy, but yeah you have to sacrifice some stuff, to move forward. The old way wasn’t working, so here I am.
Already playing poker for like 10 years and always saw poker as a bonusincoming during my studentstime.
When I graduated I had no clue what to do with my life, so I started to take poker a bit more serious. First I moved from the Netherlands to Malta (as I was broke and I couldn’t get a job I liked in the Netherlands + the adventure of moving to another country), I worked for 1 and half year in “customer support” (read: typing e-mails 40 hours a week). Next to that, in my free time I worked hard to improve my pokergame.
I improved already alot and I quited my job, since 2 months I earn my money playing poker. It’s going oke, but I thought, IF I wanna do this for real, I can better first join a professional program, so I can get new insights and better fundamentals for a real pokercarreer.
That’s why I was happy to read about the Coaching for Profits program. I applied for it and I believe this is a great step for me to achieve my dreams. Making a great living out of my hobby!

The program has officially started for me now. Yesterday I had my first session with Gordon. He explained me a lot of things about the CFP program and poker in general and we had a small live session so he could watch me play a bit. I think I have to focus alot on improving my game (the strategy part), but also the productivity part (putting hours to improve my game and also play alot of hours). This program helps me alot with that and it gives me already a lot of structure, next to that I’m really looking forward to have more coaching sessions. For now I will play alot on 100NL and focus on making the right plays. Really happy to be part of this! See you at the tables 😉September 9, 2014 at 11:51 pm #58311
I just had my 2nd livesession with Gordon. After a week I’m very positive about the program and grateful to be part of this. The first 2 days I was still in my old habits, not really thinking hands true and not thinking like a winner. After some bad comments on the website I thought, shit this is the real deal, wake the fuck up!! Do better, so during my stoploss I’ve read the NO BS 6max guide like 10 times and it’s a real good fundamental to start your game. Even on 100NL it helps me alot. Next week i’m gonna plan to keep on crushing and study about equity. I will keep the NO BS book close to me during my sessions, so if you see me using some extra time at the tables, you know what i’m doing!Well now I go to sleep! Tomorrow new day to catch some fish!!September 13, 2014 at 7:59 pm #59698
Already in week 2 now! Played very well this afternoon, however I just lost 3 bi this evening, so I quit for the day. For my mind it’s a lot of poker and I need some rest. Tomorrow is a new day to start fresh!September 16, 2014 at 9:34 am #60669
I’m in the middle of my second week now and it goes fairly well. I’m a bit worried tho, as I’m running aboth EV.
But yeah, on the other hand it doesn’t really matter, because it’s just something I always do! I call it a skill.
Yesterday I had an introduction session with Rovar BPC, he is the “project manager” of the CFP program. Great guy!
Next to that we had our first groupsession and I was very happy about that!
Cause now I spoke to the other guys that are in the same position I am and we can discuss alot of poker-issues together.
I also made my first video for my youtube channel, I don’t have much with analysing my game and put it on youtube, so I just made a Snoop dogg imitation (Gin and Juice).
I love poker, I love hiphop, so it made sense to me! Have fun with that!
Oke back to work now!September 17, 2014 at 3:58 pm #61227

Hey eatyourpeas! Thanks alot! It’s gonna be a long journey LOL.
Oke week 3 doesn’t go very well sofar, alot of tough spots and I need to man up again to make it a positive week! So I’m gonna take a good night sleep now and start fresh tomorrow.
For my 2nd video I wanted to introduce Steezy’s 5th suit no limit holdem to the pokerworld, cause I think online poker can use a bit more diversity! So some1 better find me a developer LOL!
Oke see you at the tables!September 24, 2014 at 9:33 am #63580
NEW DAY TO KICK SOME ASS!!
Still down this week, but very motivated to turn that around! Alot of homework to do and I posted my 3rd video with some crazy rivers I saw this month!
BENG, BENG, BENG! Already at the table!!September 28, 2014 at 11:31 pm #64759
Oef I think I need a good night sleep, I’m struggling this week with my focus, I make long hours and they are not paying me off at the moment. Still a few days before my first month of CFP comes to an end, let’s make it a few positive days!
