Join date: 2015/11/07My situation:
I’m 31 years old. I’m really into sports (doing them not watching) and staying fit and healthy. Work out 4 times a week at least. Enjoy going out with friends have a night out etc. Whenever I’m playing poker I’m having the most fun tho. I’m really passionate about it and frankly I think I’m not that bad at it!
My poker story:
I started playing poker online about 6 years ago if I’m not wrong. I basically played all formats of the game and all games through the years. I’ve been playing on PS mainly for the past few years, deposited some money and never looked back! Lol didn’t go Durrrrr but didn’t go broke either although I’ve been playing somewhat consistently. My game’s improved through the years mainly by playing it and also reading online and offline about the game. Read a few books and tried to keep up to date and surf online forums etc as much as I got the chance to. I wasn’t sure till recently I wanted to take poker seriously or look at it as a profession but right now I’m pretty confident with the right help and direction I’ll be able to make enough money out of this and on top of that be able to keep doing what I enjoy doing and spending time on. I think I’ve got a strong mentality for this game e.g. I’d like to think I’ve got no tilt issues no matter how many bad beats I get or how long a downswing I’d be on. I don’t have any ego issues AT ALL and have no problem going up and down the stakes. I’m all about br management no matter what and always followed it (maybe even too much!). I think I can adapt quick enough when it comes to the game flow and the kind of player I’m facing. All in all I think in the long run I’ll be a winning player but I feel I’m not using my full potential and improve (skill wise/br size) as fast as I can. My game is far from perfect obv but I think I’m not using my full potential whatever it is.
Why I want to join CFP?
So in search of a solution for this issue I came across BPC and their cfp program here and there online and decided to look into it. After enough “speculation” and “research” came to the conclusion that I wanna be a part of this and give it a full go. As part of the beginning of the program I got Gordon’s “Secrets of the poker millionaire mind” and finished reading it. I really enjoyed reading it as I saw a lot of the stuff he was talking about I was already implementing in my daily/poker life and am 100% with him with the way he described he approaches any given situation/problem. Basically the “less BS about doing things and more action” rule I like a lot and always tried to follow myself. So I’m ready to put my 100% in to this and finish the program as soon as possible and proceed from there.

Join date: 2015/11/07As soon as finished the set-up steps and had access to study material had to get some time-consuming personal stuff done that took a while and after that been grinding through the study material (specially NOBS) so basically had nothing interesting or worthy to add to the blog.
Looking forward to start playing as soon as I finish with NOBS and other stuff. I prefer spending as long as it takes to prepare fully before start playing instead of jumping at the tables half prepared etc.
Was really looking forward to practice with UhlvarEquity daily but could not due to the fact that I’m working on the stuff I mentioned literally all the time except when I’m eating/sleeping or other similar necessary activities! Even skipped all gym sessions for the last 2 weeks to commit fully to what I’m doing which is alright cause will get back to it as soon as I get things going.
So while grinding the materials I encountered some errors in the book and also had some questions about some specific parts and been asking the fellas in the Skype group about them and they helped but also I found the link below which answers a lot of the questions others like me might have so check it out:
