    Hi everyone 🙂

My name is Mihail, i’m 24 years old and i’m from Russia. I started to play poker 4 years ago with 50$ bankroll. I played about 2 years 6-max cash and after i beat nl50 i realized that 6-max is become too boring for me and in heads up games i can win more money. So, i started to play HU nl50. nl50 was easy to beat for me but when i tried to play nl100 my results was very bad. I tried to move up to nl100 at least 5 times. Then Gordon coached me and i started to beat nl100. Right now i’m a winning player at nl100 and breakeven at nl200.

Few days ago i joined to coaching for profit of BPC. Main goals is to get skills to move up and win 60k euro.

Visit my youtube channel for more information (will be updated 1 time per week) – http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNDaRecIbX-djBM1UhfkkMQ

    Let’s start.

Last week was normal. I started select game and concentrate more to play with fish. Also started meditate for 10 minutes before every session. I think it’s very helpful and important to do.

I don’t know how some players play more than 2 tables heads up against different opponents. I loose concentration and start play without thinking when i do this. As a result happens this :

    SB: 81.25 BB
    Hero (BB): 118.93 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has  9 Q

SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero checks

    Flop: (2 BB, 2 players)  3 Q J
Hero bets 21 BB, SB calls 21 BB

    Turn: (44 BB, 2 players)  A
Hero checks, SB bets 23 BB, Hero calls 23 BB

    River: (90 BB, 2 players)  4
Hero checks, SB bets 36.25 BB and is all-in, fold

    SB wins 88.25 BB

3 tables… Click, click, click, click… WTF?? I overbet flop… OOO What i should do on turn, AAAA 2 another tables…. check / call turn OMG… Well, at least on river i fold.

I should play maximum 2 tables in the future.

Everything going fine except my daily plan and time for sleeping. Usually I sleep 10 hours and then don’t sleep 15 hours. So I have 25 hours per day (not exactly like this but I tell a principle). So today I wake up, for example, at 10:00. Tomorrow at 11:00. After at 12:00 etc… Today I wake up at 18:30 and started sleep at 8:30. How peoples 8 or less hours?? Ye, I can wake up when I hearing the alarm but after this all day I will think about one thing: “I want to sleep”… WTF with me?? I should do something about it.

Stop playing today after loose 3 buy-ins. Here the biggest hands:

    1) BB: $376.17
    Hero (BTN/SB): $193.00

    Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BTN/SB with T T
Hero raises to $4, BB raises to $9, Hero raises to $34, BB raises to $70, Hero raises to $193, BB calls $123

    Flop: ($386.00) 4 A 5 (2 players)

    Turn: ($386.00) K (2 players)

    River: ($386.00) 7 (2 players)

    Final Pot: $386.00
    BB shows Q Q
    Hero shows T T
    BB wins $384.50
    (Rake: $1.50)

Hm… Maybe I should adjust my range against min5bet. People almost never show me hand worst then QQ here..

    2) I’m BB in this hand:

    BB: $286.12
    BTN/SB: $136.01

    Pre Flop: ($3.00)
    BTN/SB raises to $6, BB raises to $20, BTN/SB calls $14

    Flop: ($40.00) Q 3 2 (2 players)
    BB bets $28.68, BTN/SB calls $28.68

    Turn: ($97.36) A (2 players)
BB bets $89.70, BTN/SB calls $87.33 all in

    River: ($272.02) J (2 players – 1 is all in)

    Final Pot: $272.02
    BB shows K K
    BTN/SB shows A K
    BB wins $2.37
    BTN/SB wins $270.27
    (Rake: $-0.62)

I think it’s ok to value bet that turn and get value from Qx. Maybe I’m wrong.

    3) BTN/SB: $253.60
    Hero (BB): $206.05

Pre Flop: ($3.00) Hero is BB with A 6
    BTN/SB calls $1, Hero raises to $8, BTN/SB calls $6

    Flop: ($16.00) 4 2 A (2 players)
    Hero bets $10.00, BTN/SB calls $10

    Turn: ($36.00) A (2 players)
    Hero bets $25.88, BTN/SB calls $25.88

    River: ($87.76) 7 (2 players)
Hero bets $51.13, BTN/SB raises to $102.26, Hero folds

    Final Pot: $190.02
    BTN/SB wins $188.52
    (Rake: $1.50)

Minraise river looks very strong. Maybe I call with AK here…

The rest of the money I lost playing like this:

    1) Cbet Flop. Get raised and fold

    2) Cbet Flop, Cbet Turn. Get raised and fold

    3) Cbet Flop, Cbet Turn, Cbet River. Get raised and fold (like 3rd hand)

Sometimes I start think that my opponents knows that I fold to raises much and start bluffing me. Maybe it’s just a variance and I should be patience and wait a good moment…

Today I don’t lose any pot more than 50bb. But so many small pots. My opponents raises and raises and raises. And I’m keep folding and folding and folding. Lost 3,5 buy-ins like this.

Yes, they looks like fishes.. They limps, they min3bets but so what?? They don’t do much bullshit postflop (sometimes I think they play very good postflop). They folds when I have a good hand and barell or raise when I have a hand that I should fold… Sometimes I think they make less mistakes postflop than me.

Yes. How do you keep track of BR and stop loss across multiple tables/sites? I have to keep constantly checking all the time.

Ye, that’s a problem. I usually roughly understand how much I lose.

I started to sleep 9 ours a day !!! It’s a big progress for me after sleeping 10-11 ours a day last 7 years. And I create normal sleeping time (at 23:40 I go to bed and at 9:00 I wake up). Alarm helps 🙂

Graphs for this month (September 2014):

I played mostly nl200 and again almost breakeven result… Won a little bit.
