Reason for 3betting was to protect equity. I was hopping to fold weaker hands. Was this a good choice?

First of all , 3bet wit AQo is a really good squeeze play and i hope u considered the fact that if EP players are fish, they are going to call you anyway. Next when EP players folds but u get a flat from BTN ,it signifies hand ranges , AQs,AJs , 88, 99, TT, JJ (if he is on tighter side ). Flatting by Mp1 depending on stats may include suited connectors or braodways that he decided to flat when BTN flats and his pot odds becomes better. Now the problem i have with ur 3bet is u dont have any postflop plan. J32 is one of those boards where i think u should lead 2/3rd of the pot most of the time.  consdering BTN , most of the hands he has he is golding either on flop and if not then on turn. However, if somehow MP1 calls ur cbets on flop, i would be done with the hand right there and then. MP1 range seems very wide to me and we are going to get lots of fold from that person , while BTN’s range seems pretty straight forward and hence , his range is going to fold the turn if not the flop,

    Hope this analysis helps.
