The Young Aussie Millionaire, David Eldar

David Eldar aka Deldar182 is a professional poker player who’s made headlines recently on HighStakesDB becoming a big winner at Fixed Limit $300/$600 Omaha Hi-Lo. He’s also one of the world’s brightest minds, and not just in poker. It was obvious that Eldar had a great future ahead of him at a very young age. In fact, Eldar was a national Scrabble champion in 2006 and was actually the youngest player ever to be ranked in the Australia’s top ten.

Once he discovered poker, it didn’t take long for Eldar to succeed there as well, and even more so than in the world of Scrabble. He started at NL Hold’em and quickly became one of the highest-earning teenagers in online poker history. He’s actually one of the biggest winners at $10/$20 and $25/50 with nearly $2 million in lifetime earnings.

Deldar eventually moved over to Pot Limit Omaha and has experienced similar success playing mostly $25/50 to $100/$200 on PokerStars as “Deldar182”. He’s also known “POKERBLUFFS” on Full Tilt Poker where he’s played as high as $500/$1000. He regularly played the big nosebleed NL cash games when they were running on Full Tilt against the likes of Tom Dwan, Phil Ivey, and Patrik Antonius, among others.
