Hey guys,

as mentioned in the first part of my Stealing from the SmallBlind homework, I’ve done some further improvements on Stealing against loose station villains. You may have read my hand history posting in the forum. There were trouble spots against loose villains, where I decided to fold trashy hands. Gordon told me to just min raise such type of hands and c/f flop unimproved.

So this was my main focus the last days…

I twiddled with bet sizes (min raise, 2,5x) based on stats… I couldn’t believe it, how much money I’ve not won before!

Results:

This is the overall stats which I min raised or 2.5xed…

ok, there are okayish hands in it as well… so here I filtered only the garbage, which I definitely have not raised with before in the above table.

I’m now at over 85% PFR in unopened SB spots and it’s so profitable!!!

After each chapter I’ll do a “lessons learned”, so here it is:

Lessons learned:
think about villain tendencies (fold to Steal, Reseal, …)
find the best bet sizing for a profitable play
don’t be wimpy against ugly opponents
not spewing when getting caught
