Adam “Adamlandelius” is the newest 10k CFP 6-max Micro finisher! In the first interview we had with him, he said he went “from a losing player to a winning player in only a couple of days”. And now he is a Coaching for Profits finisher! Of course, we asked him a few questions:

What is the biggest difference from before joining CFP to now?

The biggest difference is that after joining CFP I became a winning player before I was losing money

Which 3 things did you learn?

I learned a lot from the program but 3 main things are:

1. Planning hands from the start (preflop) to the river
2. Understanding variance
3. Put a lot more volume

Who was your favorite coach? The one that had the most influence on your game?

I had most of my 1on1 sessions with Adam “Weazel” Jones so he naturally had the biggest impact on my game. I also got a lot of help from the other coaches.

What do you think everybody should do in order to succeed?

Like most others I have to say that playing a lot is most important also using your time effectively on studying.

How do you like the structure, material and the coaching sessions of the program?

The structure and material are great, by doing it step by step you don’t miss out on something important and the videos are practical examples that cover more than just the topic of the unit which I really like. The coaching sessions are also good, even if you are not the main student of the session you get your questions answered.

Now that you’re finished, what are your plans for the future poker-wise?

My plan is to continue climbing the limits and make a shit ton of money!

“If you play the $1 level, you’re not losing that much. You don’t play against geniuses and learning takes time, step by step. You’re not just losing 100-200buyins just like that. That’s not objecitvely accurate. You’re losing if other guys are better, and nobody at $1 level is training hard – not even all of our guys here!!”

Please don’t say that that… it is hyper SNG’s we are talking about…you missleading people… with two tableing you can play 15-20 games / hours if you do some (big) mistakes in a few days with bad run you can easily loose more than 100 BI… be realistic it is not a CG were you can play easily 6-8 table and with 8-12 bb/100 win almost constantly more and more…. with hypers if even you play very good you could have a 2000-3000 tournament session break even run… just check it with swongsim 😉

The reason why I’m writing it becasue to not to say too opimistic stuff with hpyer SNG’s.. just don’t do it… the people who plays them need to be prepared what to expect… to be able to avoid tilting… if they excpect higher EV they will tilt much more likely…

“Plan for the worst hope for the best” 😉
