“Just listen to your coaches and you’ll be fine.”

Today we have a little chat with a German NL 6max Crusher student “6maxbottezon”, who is learning a lot from our coaches and doing pretty well in his coaching for profits program.

1- How did you get in touch with poker and what made you decide to start playing?

In 2006 I saw poker on TV and decided to try to play money tables at Partypoker. I won a few million play money chips, lost it all and ended up leaving poker for a while.

In May 2015 I needed a way to make money and remembered that it was possible to win money at poker. I started playing with play money again and a few months later I went to real money tables.

2- How did BPC help you to improve your game?

Well, it helped me with the whole strategy. As you read above, I haven’t played poker since 2006 and in BPC was the place where I learned poker strategy for the first time.

3- Where are you living at the moment?

I live in Berlin.

4- What gives you the motivation to get back to the tables every day?

I need Money. That is more than enough motivation to me.

5-Can you recall a special moment or hand in poker, which was interesting/meaningful/memorable for you during your time in BPC?

There is a hand which I, unfortunately, can’t find the hand history. I had JJ and got raised on a somewhat dry T high flop multiway. Usually, I have to fold in this situation, however, I remembered the raiser was more aggressive than usual, so I called. On the turn he checked, I bet and he called. Now on the river, he checked again and I was wondering what was his most likely hand. I conclude his most likely hand was Tx and that betting again was better than checking back. So I shoved and he called me with AT. I was very happy that I correctly adapted, and also that didn’t get scared on the river, and made a good value bet against him.

6- Any tips for motivation for your fellow grinders?

Think about the money, you’ll win when you play well.

7- If you could give 1 advice to your other players, what would that be?

Just listen to your coaches and you’ll be fine.

Thank you for your time “6maxbottezon”. Hope you continue crushing at the tables! 🙂
