“They give you everything you need to learn the game”

This week we had a meet up with Marius aka “Mariusica230” from Romania, who does not need motivation for playing the game of poker. He just loves the game and sees it as that either you play it or it is simply not for you. 

 
How did you get in touch with poker and what made you decide to start playing?
 
I got to know the game through playing with friends and I just love the game.
 

How did BPC help you to improve your game?

They give you everything you need to learn the game. But if you don’t do your shit, the results will never come. 

 Where do you live and how is it to live there and what do you like a lot about it?

I live in Satu Mare, a small city close to the Hungarian border. I find it quite boring and I really can’t name something I like about living here 🙂

 

 What gives you the motivation to get back to the tables every day?

 

First of all, I love the game. And second is the money of course, which now slowly becomes more and more important.

 
Can you recall a special moment or hand in poker, which was meaningful for you during your time in BPC?
It was the moment when I decided, that I want to do this full time and move to Croatia with four other BPC-students. This opened my eyes regards poker and now (01.10.2016) I moved back to Romania together with a friend to play poker.
 

Any tips for motivation for your fellow grinders?

Not a single one, because I think if you need the motivation to play poker, then it’s not for you! 🙂 Just play, because you want to. It is as easy as that!
